OVERVIEW
 |
Here we go with another weekly report from your TCCOM's desk.
After a short discussion with his superior, LCM Michael LeRoy was reinstalled as Alpha CMDR and promoted to CM again. I am confident that all issues that lead to and arose from the recent events have been cleared and we can expect good work from Commander LeRoy once again!
Speaking of promotions. It is my pleasure to announce the promotion of Commander Lanil Jast to the rank of Captain. Congratulations, Captain. A well deserved promotion!
We also saw the return of an old TIE Corps vet to active duty after a long stint of inactivity. Welcome home, Major Pete Mitchel! He joins us as Kappa 3-2.
And as if these good news were not enough, the Warrior MShipE has been processed last week, too. More or less all medals were already awarded.
With recent changes to the matchmaking in SC, which turned the balance within PvP matches there from "damn bad" to "even worth", the COO has made new rules for creating new accounts in TC supported MP games and using them for LoC/LoS submissions. From now on you need to decide weither you want to have the advantage of a freshly created account that gives you the possibility to fly against weaker opponents, or you keep your old account with the mighty ships you like to use for higher level COOP/PVE matches. It's your choice now. But make sure you use your new account for at least 6 months before creating another new one AND not to use a previously used one again once you've submitted screens with a new one. Failure to cpomply to these rules will most likely lead to an investigation for cheating. I guess none of us want to see that happen.
This weekend the SOO has RL duties to fulfil that prevent him from fulfilling his duties as SOO. That's why he requested a LoA over the weekend. I hope you'll return to us safely next week, Pel!
Now on to some sad news. After a longer period of discontent with the leadership of the EH and the TIE Corps, Colonel Ulrich Drachen decided to leave us for the Reserves.
Soon I'll (hopefully) reach my TCCOM report #100. To celebrate this I started a small fiction competition called "TCCOM report 100". Details can be found in the TCCOM comp section of this report.
On a side note, Dempsey's I am one with the Thar'Ga, the Thar'Ga is with me competition just came to an end. Third place and an IS-BR was taken by Fleet Admiral Pellaeon, second place and the IS-SR went to High Adm... erm... General Anahorn Dempsey (still feels odd to see Demps without her Admrials badge) and first place and the IS-GR went to myself. Thanks for hosting this nice little comp, Demps!
