Introduction
Apologies for the late
report! I had three days of paid time off from work after my birthday
and went downstate to visit friends. But I see while I was gone that
flight activity in the Hammer has taken off beautifully! The kill
boards are stacked with Hammer pilots and our ship-wide competitions
are getting fun to watch as pilots vie for the top slots.

The top pilots of the Hammer
in the single player and multiplayer sections will vie for the title of
Blacksmith of the Month. This signifies top ace pilot status aboard the
ship. The winner of the section at the end of the month will win the
title along with an Iron Star with Gold Wings. Second place recieves
the Iron Star with Silver Wings and finally third place recieves the
Iron Star with Bronze Wings.

like Blacksmith of the Month, this competition pits squadron against
squadron as they vie for the distinguished status of Commodore's Escort
Squadron. This is tallied from a combined score in SP and MP
killboards. The winning squadron's flight participants will recieve the
Iron Star with Gold Wings and they will hold Escort Squadron status for
the next month while the next round is run. Second place squadron
recieves the Iron Star with Silver Wings, third place Iron Star with
Bronze Wings.
