-==Intro/CMDR Rant==-
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, welcome to my mid-January WSR! Nothing too terribly exciting to report this week. I kicked off my Target Identification competition last week and got two total participants. Hopefully more of you will join in the fun and take home some Iron Star's!
Lots of chatter this week on our TIE Corps Telegram channel. If you're not on there and decide you want to join in on the fun (whether it's talking about Star Wars stuff, technical stuff, Real Life® stuff, or rolling your eyes when Mark goes on a rant about hating EHBL), sign up for Telegram and send me your @username. I'll get you invited to the group and you can join in on the fun. Best part is, it counts as communication activity! All of this in addition to being a fun way to kill time at work. Not that I do that...ahem.
Also, every time I typed fun in the above paragraph, my fingers typed "phone" and I had to go back and fix it. That was weird.

* This week's (unofficial) winner at our Target Identification competition with a total elapsed time of 7 seconds was VA Miles Prower! However, as he is technically ineligible to win (since he's not in Beta Squadron), the winner and Iron Star for a time of 28 seconds goes to LC Kyle Kroan! Congrats, your medal is on it's way!
* Halfway through the month and so far, LC Kroan leads for the Pilot of the Month! Will someone catch him or is the medal his to walk away with? Stay tuned to find out!

Beta Squadron Pilot of the month
January Standings:
1. LC Kyle Kroan - 14 points
Target Identification
As a STRIKE squadron, all pilot in Beta Squadron must have the ability to identify a target based on what is sometimes partial info from the Intelligence Division. Each week in the WSR, a picture of a particular target will be included in that WSR. The first member of the squadron to reply back with the correct name of the target (which can be a person, ship or location) wins an IS-BR. Overall winner for the month will get an IS-SR.
To participate, log into the
TC site, and click on the link below. The database will track how long from when you first clicked the link below to when you submitted the answer, so there won't be any advantage to whomever completes it in the closest time to the WSR being sent, but whomever completes it in the shortest amount of time correctly.
