Epsilon WSR #4

As promised, a foreshortened
WSR#4 here a little early due to my RL holidays beginning tomorrow for a week.
Eventhough RL has
hit some of us this week, squadron-wise we've seen yet more flying, high in-squad
comms (still..!) and a couple of IWATS courses taken.
Our squadron Ships
have been chosen (as you've all been made aware of earlier) and this has caused
some great debate amongst our number - some for, some against and others resigned
to the fact that we have to fly as part of Wing I's ship-allocation and therefore,
sometimes, have to be happy to step-up & 'fit-in' where needed! Personally,
I like the look of the Squadron now, which sees a flight of missile boats backed-up
by 2 flights of T/A's as fighter support, thus:
FLIGHT I: TIE Advanced
FLIGHT II: TIE Advanced
FLIGHT III: Missile Boat Mk.II
My PC has seemed very
stable running Windows 7, even if TIE has been a little more flakey than it
was under Vista, XWA is rock-solid though and I'm well on the way to having
a complete system once more =)
With the Dean's blessing
I am to take-on ressurecting one of the old IWATS courses, so I will keep you
updated during my reports on it's progress.
And one last note
to say that our own Lieutenant Caydin Makarin has begun to earn his wings by
flying his first 2 Free Missions and very first Battle, he is in fact only 2
more points away from the first rung on the FCHG-ladder and the title of 'Grenadier',
well done LT, and welcome to a 'bigger world'! ;-)

In Closing:
Let's keep doing what we're doing as it seems our activity is
certainly high enough for us to congratulate ourselves for our work thus-far.
We are turning into a squadron, not just a set of individuals, and that's good
as we must pull-together in the coming weeks and months to make sure Epsilon
keeps up it's high profile on the Hammer and within th TC. Well done!
We have our ship-choices assigned, so let's please settle into
them! =)
Please join me in congratulating CPT Ard Royber who has secured
the Flight II FL position. I'm sure he will show us that his Flight Leadership
skills are as good as CM Dunta Polo's have been thus-far!
OK, just to recap then, our XO, CM Dunta Polo will be taking
over as aCMDR from tomorrow until I return on Monday 28th, when I'm sure he'll
furnish me with a full report on all the activities in my absence! He has asked
that any pilot files you have to be BSF'd please be sent direct to our acting
WC, VA Astin.
