ISDII Hammer WSR #91
2017 Cruise Book
Weekly Ship Report #91 (01.01-01.07 2017)
for Imperial Star Destroyer-II Hammer
and Naval Fighter Wing I
Introduction
All
hands, all hands to muster! As of 0900 hours, High Admiral Anahorn
Dempsey is hereby detatched from assignment as Commanding Officer
&
Commodore, ISDII Hammer
and is taking upon new assignment as Flight Member, Delta Squadron,
Naval Fighter Wing I, ISDII Hammer
at her previous flight rank of General.
High Admiral Dempsey is hereby relieved under orders of High Admiral
Elwood the Brave by Vice Admiral Miles Prower. Vice Admiral Prower will
be taking upon the new assignment as Commanding Officer &
Commodore, ISDII Hammer.
--
"I
am ready to be relieved." High Admiral Dempsey said, rendering a
salute. The newly minted Vice Admiral raised his hand up in salute as
well. "I relieve you, ma'am." After a few moments they smiled and
Prower reached out onto the podium and opened a cabinet built in. He
reached in and withdrew a very familiar flight helmet now decked in
Delta Squadron markings. Prower held it out and beamed. "It's good to
see that we still get to keep you, General." Prower then gestured
towards the inside of the inverted helmet where several bottles of
single malt Scotch rested. "Just don't drink it all in one sitting."
He
turned to face the assembled crew and nodded to them. "At ease." Then
he looked to Woody who took a ceremonial lightsaber and ignited it,
using it to cut a piece of the giant cake that was assembled in the
form of the Hammer. Sitting
near it were champagne glasses and small cupcakes that looked like TIE
Fighters, Bombers, Interceptors, Advanced, Defenders, Gunships and
Missile Boats.

Well then, pilots of the Hammer.
We've gotten off to a running, ion-charged start for the month of
January. I am pleased to see an increase in communication activity not
only aboard ship but across the TIE Corps itself. This will be crucial
for keeping morale from slipping. Â Just keep in mind we are
all here to have a fun, organized time in our favorite games and
amongst each other. Â My job as Commodore is to coordinate with
your Squadron Commanders to assist and supervise them. Â But I
feel that one should always try to strive to go above minimum duty
requirements. I will be flying alongside you, I will be keeping an open
door and an open ear. The Commodore's office is open to its pilots at
all times.

Ship Competitions
Main Competition Center
Ship-Wide:
Blacksmith of the Month
(SP/MP)
1-1-2017 to 1-31-2017
The top pilots of the Hammer
in the single player and multiplayer sections will vie for the title of
Blacksmith of the Month. This signifies top ace pilot status aboard the
ship. The winner of the section at the end of the month will win the
title along with an Iron Star with Gold Wings. Second place recieves
the Iron Star with Silver Wings and finally third place recieves the
Iron Star with Bronze Wings.
Squadron Simulation
Supremacy (Link)
1-1-2017 to 1-31-2017
Much like Blacksmith of the Month, this competition pits squadron
against squadron as they vie for the distinguished status of
Commodore's Escort Squadron. This is tallied from a combined score in
SP and MP killboards. The winning squadron's flight participants will
recieve the Iron Star with Gold Wings and they will hold Escort
Squadron status for the next month while the next round is run. Second
place squadron recieves the Iron Star with Silver Wings, third place
Iron Star with Bronze Wings.

Pilot Kill Board
With the exception of
the TCCOM at #6, the Hammer has pretty much dominated the SP Kill Board!
Multiplayer Kill Board
We can safely say the
same for the MP Kill Board
Pilot Co-Op Kill Board
Yes, even I managed to
get some punches in.
Closing & Trivia
Well now, a very productive
start to what will be a very productive year! Thank you all for your
hard work getting us into the top slots of the killboards. I love
handing out medals, so I will be awaiting the results of Blacksmith of
the Month and Squadron Simulation Supremacy!
I'd normally have Major Task say something here but he seems to be
having fun on my Packard Bell S616 playing TIE-CD, said something about
it reminding him of bullseyeing womprats in his T-16 back home.
