Alright, 2017 is off and running. Big shout out to LC Kyle Kroan. In addition to being active via email over the last week, it appears he has been secretly working on upgrading TTT2! If you don't know what this is, this is the Tempest-created program that we use to create the uniforms on our TC profile pages. Not only did he work on updating the program, he went through and rendered uniforms for everyone in the TC in case they didn't want to do it themselves. Great job!
 
Next up, our monthly competitions have been kicked off. In addition to our usual PotM competition, I know have a good 'ole fashioned Web Hunt. To participate, all you have to do is log into the TC site using your PIN and password, and click the link I provide each week under the Squadron Competitions section. The one who can name the person/place/thing in the picture in the shortest amount of time wins an IS-BR that week, and overall winner for the month gets an IS-SR.
 
Please note that by using the site, there is no advantage to whomever reads my report first. The site tracks how long it takes from when you first click the link to when you submit an answer. If for any reason you don't know your PIN, I have an easy solution! Our roster is in this report so just scroll to the bottom and click the link that is in your name!

Beta Squadron Pilot of the month
January Standings: 
1. LC Kyle Kroan - 10 points
 
Target Identification
As a STRIKE squadron, all pilot in Beta Squadron must have the ability to identify a target based on what is sometimes partial info from the Intelligence Division. Each week in the WSR, a picture of a particular target will be included in that WSR. The first member of the squadron to reply back with the correct name of the target (which can be a person, ship or location) wins an IS-BR. Overall winner for the month will get an IS-SR.
 
To participate, log into the TC site, and click on the link below. The database will track how long from when you first clicked the link below to when you submitted the answer, so there won't be any advantage to whomever completes it in the closest time to the WSR being sent, but whomever completes it in the shortest amount of time correctly.
