Top news this week is arguably our most positive note: COL Wraith is alive and well, he's just been busy in RL. It happens! I was very glad to hear from him and appreciate that he took the time to fill me in on what's happening. He's agreed to stay on in Sin Squadron in the FM position we assigned him.
With the processing of the September Ship Evaluation came the opportunity to recognize the following individuals:
- LC Len Eode, CMDR of Sigma Squadron, was promoted to full Colonel!
- CM Bodhan Grayson of Kappa Squadron was awarded the Imperial Security Medal
- COL Len Eode of Sigma Squadron was awarded the Imperial Security Medal
Medals of Communication for September were awarded this week, big thanks to everyone who makes the effort to stay in contact and contribute to the community!
Sin Squadron has a new CMDR, please welcome GN Jarek La'an into his latest leadership venture! Most recently having served as Commander of Theta Squadron, La'an has served the TIE Corps in almost every role we have to offer. Sin will be in very good hands.
Another position change was processed this week with LCM Lucifer Scorpio Romanov stepping up to fill the previously open Flight Leader position in Kappa Squadron. Congratulations!
COL Mark Schueler continued his winning streak in Warrior Trivia with another victory in Week Eight. Well done!
In sadder news, CPT Sparky requested to transfer to the Reserves, which was why Kappa had an open Flight Leader position. When he has time to return, he knows where to find us.
Reminder: We have two Warrior competitions ending in a few days, so if you haven't yet, this weekend would be a great time to earn some points towards those! See the next section for more details.
