The Hammer's evaluations are complete. We have seen some Silver Stars of the Empire awarded, and I myself was awarded a Gold Star of the Empire. And then something unique happened. Something we will most likely never see again: a medal already awarded was scrubbed and upgraded, so grats as well to MAJ Silvius on his Gold Star of the Empire.

We also lost two pilots this week, LT PaparazZit and LCM Chrome. I hope they'll find their way back to us someday. At the same time, MAJ Mauser decided to step down as Flight Leader in Delta squadron, so if you want, there's a spot available for you.

In case you haven't seen it yet, Grand Admiral Thrawn is once again back into Star Wars canon. He'll be making an appearance as the new big bad in Star Wars Rebels season 3!

We has another big party this week, as the TCCOM received his final promotion: the promotion to the rank of High Admiral. Unless he gets bumped to XO or FC, that'll be the last one ever for him. I know the feeling, I had it like 8 years ago. Still, it's worthy of a hefty celebration.

Last for this week: MAJ Silvius, our Alpha Commander, will take a short LoA starting next Friday and running until August 1st. In his absence, the Wing Commander will be taking over as Alpha Commander.
 

I have three things today. First off, later today I will post a list of disciplinary measures to be taken in the mess hall. Personnel on the list returned from the TCCOM's promotion celebration party on the ISD-II Challenge while under the influence of intoxicants, which is unacceptable behaviour for those in service to the Empire! All personnel on the list will report to Hangar Bay 18 tomorrow morning at 0800. And don't forget your toothbrushes.

Second, Our numbers are dwindling again. Everyone is urged to seek new recruits wherever they can. For each new recruit you deliver to this ship, you will be exempt from latrine duty for one week.

Last, I must announce the untimely demise of one of our potential pilots, Sub-Lieutenant Droop. This morning he was seen walkiing straight into the reactor room without the required protective clothing. The radiation emanating from the reactor killed him in seconds. We are still trying to figure out what exactly possessed him to go there to begin with, but preliminary investigations show he had an illegal application installed on his TIE Corps issued datapad. The application, called Pokémon Go, apparantly lets you see things that are not there. Any personnel found with the application on their datapads will be subject to ridicule from the Command Staff.
