Kappa Squadron - WSR #21 - Raise the Flag 2016 Week 1

Introduction - Raise the flag 2016!

Ladies and Gentlemen of Kappa welcome to yet another WSR and more importantly another Raise the Flag Event! This one is shaping up to be very interesting and exciting for not only Kappa but the entire TIE Corps.

The ISDII Warrior is going for it's 3rd RtF Victory and we have already earned over 1400 points and as a Squadron we are currently in 2nd place with 326 points (at the time of this writing). Of course the most important stat I like is that with Kappa being a full squad of 12 pilots we currently have 6 Pilots (50%) that have earned at least 1 RtF Point! Awesome job so far!

Of course this is not the time to go on autopilot or not a time for me to stop hoping that the remaining Kappa Pilots will join in on the action. There is plenty of RtF to go and the bonus comps are where the points and standings will change a lot. So I hope everyone tries to get in on those as well. Let's keep the KAPPA HYPE flowing!

As a Reminder you can check results as they are updated on a great site developed by GN Yoda - Raise the Flag 2016 Website. FYI there is a delay in once your activity is approved on the TC site to when the site is updated.

Just an FYI Kappa has never finished higher than 5th Place in the last 2 RtF's so I hope now with a full squad we can do a lot better than that!

Squadron Stuff

As I mentioned in a recent Squad Email I'll be on a here not here LoA from June 7th to the 13th so I hope you all can carry the Squad without me. Remember if you need me please send a email cc'ing your FL (Sparky or leo) and AD PLif. If it's important they will handle it otherwise I'll deal with it when I come back.

May's Monthly Squad Report was submitted to AD Plif last night so once the remaining squadrons have submitted theirs I hope to be able to start awarding some nice Medals!

Kappa flies SP????? I'm pleasantly surprised to see almost half of our points (134 so far) coming from SP missions. Heck even I'm flying some (Who would have known?). This I hope to be a good sign to have a strong SP and MP showing this year so keep it up!

I have also found 3 Kappa TIE Free missions 265, 266 & 270. I don't know how hard they are but if you want to fly as your own squad go check these out!

Kappa History Project

Kappa Squadron's Wiki - for your reading pleasure and of course suggestions, corrections and additions are welcome. I will be back at this next month anyone willing to help let me know! At a stand still but so much to put in the wiki. I will need help.

UPDATE - I found a missing CMDR and have properly added LC Moagim Daar in his rightful place on the CMDRs list!
