awards from March are back in and all approved. Now that it is, I can
announce several changes I’ve made recently to the chain-of-command and
the roster. First off with the bad news…Sub-Lieutenant JackBaldy
has been officially declared AWOL and transferred out of Sin to Inactive
status. Also, one of Sin’s original pilots Major Flelm has handed
over the reins of 2-Flight to the capable hands of Captain Xavier
Sienar. The ever-gracious Flelm has moved to Sin 1-4, both effective
from the TCCOM’s earlier announcement.
For
those of you who either don’t have a uniform posted on your TC.org
profile yet, or haven’t updated yours in a while; I’ve taken the
liberty of generating some…feel free to upload them if you like them.
I’ll send them out individually so I don’t spam the list with
large files J
Not
much else to report beyond that…except that Raise the Flag is in
exactly six weeks! For those of you in your first year, Raise the Flag
is the largest competition in the TIE Corps…period. Big shiny
medals will fly, scoreboards will be F5’d into oblivion, and at least a
few broken joysticks will ensue. To that end, I’d encourage
everyone who owns our core single-player platforms (TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs.
TIE Fighter, Balance of Power, and X-Wing Alliance) to make sure everything
is loaded and working, ready to spam BSFs until we break the CMDR’s
inbox J
Also,
if you don’t have Star Conflict yet…now is a good time to try it
out. Don’t fret about not being able to contribute to Raise the
Flag with it…the most productive fights for scoring are on the lowest
tiers anyways. Bonus…it’s free. No buying software
and no subscription.
