It's been an interesting week, folks. In case you haven't been keeping up, our number has grown by two!
Firtly, welcome to SL Saskini, who didn't waste much time earning his Lieutenant's stripes. Secondly,
welcome back to MAJ Phoenix Berkana who has returned from the M/FRG Phoenix. As they strengthen Alpha
and Delta squadrons, we hope their stay will be a long and prosperous one indeed!
The TCCOM's anniversary is coming up, and the last of the 4 competitions has been announced. As expected, it is a MP competition
although it's focusses on Star Conflict. Simply send the TCCOM the PvP victory screenshot with the highest efficiency. Alas, I must
admit I have noit yet participated at all. I tried the SP battle but gave up after 2 tries....
The COO's Combat Event is running this weekend as well, with the chance t win a Distinguished Flying Cross!
This one I will surely participate in, assuming I can find more players to fly against/with.
The official SC channel on YouTube is also starting a series of tutorials for each starship role in the game. I've posted the first one,
on Covert Ops ships, on the news page, and more will be following I guess!
Lastly, if you haven't done so, go watch the Rogue One trailer - apparantly it has no Jedi, but as it's
set between episodes III and IV, and apparantly it ties in to one of the games? Still, it has AT-ATs and Mon Mothma.
Lastly, the Dempsey's Weekly Screenshots competition is getting a little monotonous, with VA Hawkins
taking the last 3 rounds. Who will defeat him!
 Pilots of the Hammer, it is only 2 more weeks until I formally take over as Commodore of
this fine ship. Well, for two weeks anyway. I expect everyone to be on their most active then, so that there will be plenty of stuff to report.
If it was up to me I'd chastise all who do not fit the profile, but as that would mean chastising the COM too for showing no activity during
that time, I doubt she will agree.
It is a hard time for the Empire. We will and we must endure. And we will be victorious in our war.
PS: that sounded good, but it seems we've entered a relatively peaceful time. Where's the glory in that! Qapla'!
