This month proves to become legendary. First of all, because tomorrow I celebrate my first year as Commodore of this ship. The
12th MShipE will be submitted later today, and this is my 49th report. I missed a few due to some holidays :) And also - in less than 2 weeks time, I will be part
of this club for a whole 9 years. Yay me. Then again, it's only about half as long as our resident ship dinosaur, as
CPT Mauser reached 17 years this week.... But that wasn't non stop so I guess I win :)
Yay also to CM Silvius who has become the first among us to construct his own Destroyer in Star Conflict,
for which he received an Iron Star with Gold Ribbon. Excellent job, CM. Remind me to play lots and lots of T3 PvP with you :)
Everything else is pretty quiet. The February Frenzy competition is coming along nicely, although I would like to see some more
participation. After all, the picture round takes only a few minutes! At this moment, it's a tight race between Beta and Delta!
Meanwhile, I have promised myself I would spend less time behind my computer. Once again, I failed....

Hammer's February Frenzy
Each week in February the Hammer's pilots shall be pitted against one another in several tasks, 4 each week. Each task will yield a winner, and to make things fair you will be given
2 flying task (TIE and SC) and 2 non-flying (photo IDs and online game) tasks every week. Per round and per task, the best performances with an IS-S* and IS-B*. Also, for each task
you complete, you will earn points: 5 pts for 1st, 4 pts for 2nd, etc. 5th and below will get 1 pt. At the end of the competition, all your points will be added to determine the winner,
and there will be an IS-GR/SR/BR for the top 3 finishers. As a twist, all pilot points will also count towards a squadron total, giving the two commanders with the best performing
squadrons an additional IS-SR/BR. Specifics will be sent to the Hammer mailing list on Mondays.
Note I cannot yet give you the week 1 results - you still have a few hours to send in your submissions!
week 2 TIE Fighter: I will assign you a TIE free mission. The objective is to win using the least amount of warheads (yes, you will be in a Missile Boat).
week 2 Star Conflict: Fly a PvE match - whoever gets closest to the assigned target score wins.
week 2 picture round: I will email you the address of a page containing 10 photo's of alphabets. Which language/alphabet is this - whoever gets most right in the shortest time wins.
week 2 gaming round: 6 Degrees of Separation - get from one given wookieepedia page to another in as few clicks as possible.
please not the following:
for Star Conflict PvP and PvE I'm referring to the classic style game modes - PvP means against other people, and PvE means the original PvE game types, so no PvP bot matches
for the picture round, 'shortest time' does not mean 'first to send me the answers' - your time starts when you open the assigned URL and ends when you submit your answers.
for the picture round, not that you must submit all answers at once, you cannot submit a few and continue at a later point.

Unless it's a 10th victory, which gives you an IS-GR. A 25th victory will give you an IS-PR!

Well, the first month is done. My goals for the year haven't changed, but if I'm sticking to them, they should be 8.3% done (or better):
SP: 1000+ missions flown, with at least 4 wins on the killboard (4/1000 done - 0.4% - woops)
SP: create at least 2 new battles for TIE, XvT and XWA (0/6 done - 0%)
MP: reach Tan in the CR standings (350/2539 pts done - 15%)
earn 150 IS-*W medals (24/150 done - 16%)
