Green Squadron Weekly Report #12
CMDR-TCS-PROF/CM Dunta Polo reporting in for Green Squadron on 18th July, 2009.
Welcome to the my fourth report as Green squadron commander. I'd like to remind LC Savageaz and COL Nightmare to contact me ASAP as I haven't heard from you two recently - if you were on IRC please let me know your usernames. I've had a few suggestions for the next competition, at this point I'd like to hear from the rest of the squadron before I proceed with creating one.
TIE Corps News
* Rear Admiral Jedi Eclipse is the new Dean of IWATS.
* Commander RichyV of Fury squadron has been promoted to Captain.
Wing XXI News
* Captain Myn Donos of Blue squadron has been promoted to the rank of Major.
* Captain Judarrl's Decoder's Dilemma competition (week 1) has ended.

Squadron News/Status
* Colonel Yoda is Green Squadron Pilot of the Week for 8th-15th July, and also won the final round of the Wing XXI caption competition.
* I took second place in the caption competition and was awarded a Bronze Star of the Empire for the June evaluation.
* I'm still taking applications for the open 3-1 Flight Leader position. I expect FLs to be visible, active leaders - ie, flying, taking IWATS, writing, creating graphics, communicating regularly, helping FMs etc. Keep this in mind if you're interested.

There are a few competitions running at the moment:
1. Pilot of the Week/Month

Details: Each week the Green squadron pilot with the best TIE Corps participation record, whether it be IWATS, flight activity, relevant communications, fiction pieces, assisting officers in their duties or whatever, receives an IS-BW. The pilot with the best record per month wins an IS-BW. In order for the competition to be judged fairly, I will not be participating myself.

2. Dempsey's PC Game Mania

Details: Three weeks in a row, you'll get 10 screenshots from classic PC games. 1 point per correct answer. Every week, there's a IS-SR/IS-BR for the winner. At the end, there's an IS-PR to IS-SR for the top three.
Medals: IS-SR for weekly winner, IS-BR for weekly second place; IS-PR for overall winner, IS-GR for second, IS-SR for third

Completed TIE-Free #5, XvT-TC #131, XvT-Free #89 and 200, XWA-TC #13 and 35. Achieved a new battle and one new mission high score. Awarded BS for June MWE and IS-BR for second place in Wing XXI caption competition. Submitted entries for the final week of the TIE Corps PC Game Mania competition. Active on IRC, EH messageboards and on Wing mailing list. Kept in regular contact with WC Jade and squadron members.

Standing Orders:
* I would like each of you to report to me via email every Thursday with any TIE Corps-related activity, with dates so I know what you did and when. I will be using this information to compile the weekly squadron report on Fridays.
* Feel free to send me applications for the 3-1 Flight Leader position – but be sure you understand the responsibility involved.
* Ideally, the majority of you will participate in at least one squadron or wing competition - check the current ones at the competitions centre here: http://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=current
* Fly a battle, take an IWATS, produce a graphic, post fiction in the run-on, etc etc - basically get involved in something TC-related at least once per week.
* If you need help with something, want to discuss an issue, have any ideas for TC stuff - let me know, I usually have a 24 hour email turnaround time.
