Welcome to the 4th advent SOO Report #35, the last one before Christmas :-D

Star Wars 7 - The Force Awakens was released and I saw it yesterday. It wasn't what I expected, but I don't like spoilers so everybody has to make his own opinion about it.

The TCCOM and myself re-wrote the TIE Corps Pilot Manual and it was approved by the Fleet Commander this week. HA Anahorn Dempsey was so kind to upload it, so it is available for everybody right now. The major change is the awarding procedure of the Iron Stars with Gold Wings/Ribbons. These are no longer available for weekly repeating competitions. The future repeating competitions must last at least one month to have the gold versions as reward. Hitherto existing competions remain untouched until the end of the year. So there are still IS-GW this week and for the next week available in TCoR. Starting 2016 an IS-SW will be awarded for the 1st place of each competiton approved game mode. The monthly overall winner remains a recipient of an IS-GW. I also want to close this years TIE Corps on Recon on 27th December. After my report #26 the official season of TCoR 2016 will start.

The other changes of the TCPM were minor ones. One correcting the requirement for a promotion from SL to LT and the scond one the authority of the IO to delegate the CoE to CA:IO and IOA after his approval.

VA Plif released the #1 of the TIE Corps newsletter "The Commodore" this week. Great work of all contibutors and VA Plif creating this fantastic website. All Letters of Achievements were allready handed over by Santa Pell. I'm looking forward to read more in the next months.

HA Anahorn Dempsey made a change to our database. The TIE Corps newsletter will appear from now on in the section "Communications Center" of our website. Thank you for that, Demps!

There is also one change in the evaluations procedure, but this only concerns the TCCS. There is or was never a reason why TCCS members never got reward for their normal gaming activity like every member of the TIE Corps. From now on the TCCS will be evaluated every month too. Long time service awards or awards for some special and outstanding services remain untouched apart of that.

The Emperor's Hammer founding day will be soon. The TCCOM accepts the nomination for the Commendation of Loyality. Every CMDR, COM and TCCS member is allowed to nominate one candidate. The TCCOM as a Sub-Group Commander is allowed to nominate two. Send your nominations to our TCCOM/FA Elwood the Brave. If there is a double nomination, a notification will be done to nominate an other member. Deadline is the 27th December 10:00 UTC

SOO Competitions

TIE Corps on Recon:

This competition is split up into multiple parts, all based on Star Conflict Multiplayer matches. The different weekly parts are split up based on the different match types Star Conflict is offering.

Here the goals for the 5 different game modes used in this competition:

- Domination/Beacon Hunt (counted seperately): most captured beacons
- PvE/Team Battle/Combat Recon (counted seperately): most kills (Assists count as half kills)

For the monthly part of the TCoR competition a points system will be used. For each victory in one of the weekly sections of this competition the winner will gain 4 points, second gains 3, 3rd gains 2 and every other participant gains 1 point. Those points will be added up until the last weekly SOO report of a month and then the monthly winner will be announced based on those points. IS-GW/IS-SW/IS-BW for 1st, 2nd and 3rd based on the points earned (points from all match types added together for the monthly part!).

Every participating pilot that isn't eligible for a medal reward from this competition earns himself an TCoR-activity point for each match type he participated in per week. 10 activity points = IS-BW, 50 activity points = IS-SW.

To make a match count for this competition screenshots of the matches need to be send to the TIE Corps Strategic Operations Oficer before the weekly report is released on Sunday. Only one submission per week, match type and pilot will count, even though you might send me multiple screenshots in case you manage to gain more kills/captures during a week than you've had in the first submission. Only screenshots for victories are allowed!

Everyone that wants to participate in this competition needs to submit screenshots himself. If in one match 2 TIE Corps pilots participated and want a screenshot for that match to count for this competition they BOTH need to send me their screenshots!

Tie breakers: kills for Domination and Beacon Hunt; Captain kill or pure kills for PvE, Team battle and Combat Recon.
