Good day pilots of the mighty ISD-II Hammer!

This week has been just about as quiet as the rest, with two notable exceptions: on a minor note I bring you the end of the one-week Hammer trivia competition Screenshots 101, but on a much more important note I bring you the promotions of LTs SuSaWo and Silvius to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Congrats to your well-earned advancements! That makes 3 promotions in 2 weeks time - who will be next!

As said, the Screenshots 101 competition has ended, and though I had hoped for a little more participation, the main objective was testing some code I wrote. In that, this was a success, as it seems everything worked without a hitch. Participation however does make me wonder - should my report-competition for next year be for the Hammer only, or for the whole of the TC. I'm leaning towards the latter. Either way - congrats to LCM Chrome for getting 1st place!

I'm glad to see Battlefront 3 has been incorporated into the website, and apart from one small omission, everything appears to be fine. And that one small error was fixed as well (hopefully). I won't be flying the game as I don't have it, so I'll just stick to XWA. I don't know what settings were changed, but the gfx on that game have improved dramatically on my new box. It seems I've been flying without backdrops all this time. Things sure look a lot better with them enabled, and so do the craft. For the first time I can actually see the engine wash :)

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get TIE to work yet. Good thing I flew Battle 12 before getting my new PC or I wouldn't even have been able to participate in this month's GoG games. Which reminds me - you have until tomorrow to submit your pilotfiles. Of all the regular participants, 2 have not yet submitted (and you know who you are) - don't give up now with only 2 more battles to fly!

With the end of november in sight, it's time for the commanders of the ,em>Hammer to start work on their MSE's. I'd like to get them shipped off to the SOO by Friday, as December will be an ugly month. Unlike the rest of the world, the Netherlands has two big celebrations, both involving happy time with family and lots of gifts, and old guys in red clothes with white stuff. Both also listening to the name Saint Nicholas. Or Saint Nick for you lot.
