Hi all. This is another weekly Wally report. Erm, weekly COM report I mean.

This week was a very good week indeed. First off, not one, but two new pilots joined our ranks, and earned their promotions to Lieutenant. Welcome and good job, LTs Silvius and SuSaWo. And then to top this off, two old veterans decided to occupy some bunks on the Hammer: welcome back, COL Talons Pryde and CPT Aija Alura Judarrl! There's also a new recruit on the Warrior, so things are going well for the TC!

With that, however, all squadrons have very limited places left, and with both Flight Leader spots empty in Alpha and Beta, I urge all pilots to consider an appointment to Flight Leader in one of these fine squadrons. Applications should be sent to me and the squadron commander in question.

The week nears its end, and thus the One Hammer to Rule Them All competition does as well. Well, except for the part where round 3 was screwed up because the site recorded people starting trivia, but not their answers. As such, we will be playing the round #3 trivia again. Questions will be sent out later. For the Round 4 Zombie shooter game and TIE free mission, you have until the end of today. The trivia round will end at the release of my next report.

With the end of the month near, it's once again time to make up the balance. Monthly competitions are about to end, such as the TIE Fighter: The GoG Games: Battle X. You have until the end of Wednesday to submit your pilotfiles for that one! As far as the Commanders go - remember to send your MSE in on time. I'd like to see them on or before the 5th of October!

I don't know about you, but I'm starting to get a little worried about the INN news reports on the TC website. It seems there is a leak somewhere in the TC. I urge everyone to refrain from talking to the press. Information leaked about our whereabouts or mission could be devastating and disastrous!

One Hammer to rule them all

The rules are simple: Each week you will be given a flying and a non flying assignment. You can submit an entry for either, or both. Each will yield a weekly winner and a weekly runner-up. Each player gets 5 pts for a win, 4 pts for a runner-up, 3 pts for a 3rd, 2 pts for a 4th, and everyone else gets 1 pt. At the end of the 4 week, there will be a top 3 for the flying part and a top 3 for the no flying part, yielding the appropriate medals. Each week, the assignments will be different, and flying assignments will be a mix of SP and MP. Your round #3 answers can be submitted until the end of Tuesday, CET. Round 4 submissions are taken as of now.

Round #4 Flying Assignment: Fly TIE free 99. Your score is the laserless score multiplied by the # of warheads fired, divided by the # of warhead hits - whoever gets closest to 3274 points wins.
