Introduction

I just finished a drive from the Finger Lakes back down to Virginia, and there is plenty of real news this week, so you'll have to do without that trademark Archenksov wit this report.

News

The first item is also the one that makes me happiest to report: we've been joined this week by SL Milo Antu, fresh off of the Daedalus. I look forward to reporting on/bragging about Antu's exploits to you all.

In contrast, I'm sorry to report that our former CMDR, LC Iceman, had his Steam account hacked. My understanding is that Valve (or whoever) is working to resolve that issue.

Most of you probably know that I and several other people are working to revive the Hammer's Fist, the EH's storied FPS and RTS subgroup. We made awesome progress last week and I believe the current count is up to 13 people interesting in joining. If you'd like to know more, a handy hyperlinked list of our communication channels is available here. GA Rapier reactivated the HF subdomain and I hope to get a small but functioning site up at hf.emperorshammer.org later this week. In the meantime, my co-conspirator Ulrich Drachen is running the Hammer's Fist battleteam in the Dark Brotherhood. If you'd like to join us over there, please contact CON Crsepe and PCON Pellaeon.

LO Mark Scheuler brought Telegram to the EHTC this week. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, Telegram is a group chat program available for desktop, Android, and iPhone. And in news from the Admiralty, AD Crsepe has announced that September will be his last month as COO. Please join me in thanking him for his years of service in the position. The TCCOM has already selected his successor, and will not be taking applications for the position.
