Commodore's speech
Hi all. Today, this report contains happy and sad tidings. Sad tidings, albeit old news, is the retirement of HA Frodo March as
Warrior COM. Guess I outlasted him :) Well, it's not that bad. And - we also have a replacement, as LC Plif was
promoted to the position, leaving Sin squadron without a commander, but that problem, too, has been resolved.
LC Iceman is still on leave. Commander duties are transferred to either LCM Archenksov, or myself. For this, again I thank him.
A few days after my last report I noticed an omission. Sloppy on my part, but when I listed the recipients of the Palpatine Crescent
for July's activity, I somehow missed CPT Mauser. A belated congrats to you as well!
After my email a while back that I was looking for some beta testers, people have stepped up and done the deed. I have some beta reports waiting, and all I need
now is release those battles. I'm also still testing a 12 mission TIE Battle, that might take a wee bit longer. My main gaming priority right now, and for the next
week, is completing the Secret ship / Daily mission thing on Star Conflict. I'm almost done :)
To those who are interested - you have one more week to fly TIE Fighter Battle 9 for the GoG Games competition. With 8 months done,
we're 2/3rds along the way. I'm glad to see so many people stuck around for this one!
As you also may have noticed if you pay attention to the mailing list, there's been some discussions going about the Imperial News Network,
which has started daily broadcasts throughout the Fleet last week.
Apparantly, there's a Star Conflict spinoff game being developed, called Dreadnought. They're looking for
beta testers, and while I don't have the time myself, others may. If you do, go sign up. And remember - people you meet in game there are recruitable material for
the TIE Corps! Address: Dreadnought website.
Lastly, my next report will most likely be a wee bit late as I'll be out of town on Friday, Saturday and until late on Sunday. The report may even be postponed until Monday :)

This week's riddle: As we all know, Ewoks like to eat fruit. FA Woody's pet Ewok, Munchkin, is tied to a 15 foot rope in Woody's office. Woody's desk, with on it
a bowl of fruit he had planned to eat after dinner, is 25 feet away from the Ewok. When Woody enters his office after dinner to eat his dessert, he notices the Ewok has eaten it all. How is this
