Well, another week has past, and it appears we are still resting from the effort that was Raise the Flag. A quiet week, with little of noteworthy value. Still - I shall try....

To start off, as you may or may not have noticed, CMDR MAJ Iceman of Alpha squadron had to leave the Hammer on urgent business. As he took his trusted X-wing Susie before I could see him, I have no idea what's going on, but whispers are his LoA will last at least two weeks. In the mean time, Alpha Flight 3 Leader, LCM Archenksov has stepped in to take care of the squadron. All Alpha members have received their assignments.

Next, Beta squadron saw the arrival of a new Cadet, SL Mordamen Bast, who needed little time to score his first few Legions of Skirmish and secure his promotion to full lietenant. Congratulations and welcome to you, pilot!

Those with good memory may recall I received an Order of the Renegade last week, and as such I have - with some difficulty and no clue how I got it to work in the end - created what will most likely be my final uniform. No more medals, FCHG badges or rank pips to be added. Enjoy!

Soon, the Club founder will celebrate yet another birthday, and to commemorate this event, once again we will be handing out some Commendations of Loyalty. As before, Each Commander and above is given 1 nomination from the people under his/her command. I do wonder who will receive them this time.

Next, July MSEs have been received (well, 3 of 4 anyway) and forwarded to the SOO and TCCOM with a few recommendations of my own added.

Lastly, it seems that some time ago, when then TCCOM Daniel Bonini commissioned the ISD-II Warrior, just about everyone was vast asleep, and as a result it has only now come to light that Wing II has shamelessly stolen Wing I's motto! This is of course unacceptable. I have already dispatched some sabotage teams to the Warrior to cripple the ship for the time being. Although in hindsight, I probably a] should not have said so, and b] should have done this in June, before RtF and not after....

Dempsey's Weekly Riddles

Every week, the report will have a riddle. First pilot to send the correct answer to the mailing list wins. Each victory earns you an IS-BR. Unless it's a 5th victory, you then get a IS-SR. Unless it's a 10th victory, which gives you an IS-GR. A 25th victory will give you an IS-PR!

This week's riddle: You have been confined to the brig aboard the ISD Hammer. Your cell is equipped with 3 doors: one that leads to freedom, and 2 that lead to certain death. As I am a benevolent COM, I will allow you to ask me ONE question, which I will answer truthfully by only saying YES or NO, before you have to choose which door to use to leave your cell. So the odds are now in your favor. Provided of course, you ask me the right question. Which is the question to ask?
