As you may already have picked up, the email strain on the server was greatly reduced this week with the introduction of a LoC/LoS weekly digest email. This replaces the individual emails sent out. The first of these digest emails had 98 medal notifications in it, which would have been good for well over 500 emails. Now that's what I call cutting down! From now on, these digests will be sent on Fridays, and on the first of the new month. Individual emails are a thing of the past. Note that only the emails are affected - medals will be added to your record and ATR as soon as they are approved as always.

Next week is Raise the Flag 2015. I like our chances, we have some folks flying Single Player games, we have some folks flying Multi Player games, and we have some folks with a good shot at some high scores for the bonus competition. As said before, try to get some more time in for the TC next month!

To close off this month, I started yet another Pazaak competition. As the reigning champion after the COO competition, I challenge all TC members to a best-of-5 encounter. If you win (3 wins will do) you win an IS-BR. If you lose, I will only get the IS-BR if I manage a 5-0 win. Which I am already regretting.... 4-2 ahead in matches and still no medal earned. Dempsey's Weekly Riddles

Every week, the report will have a riddle. First pilot to send the correct answer to the mailing list wins. Each victory earns you an IS-BR. Unless it's a 5th victory, you then get a IS-SR. Unless it's a 10th victory, which gives you an IS-GR. A 25th victory will give you an IS-PR!

This week's riddle: This is an unusual story. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

Submit your StarConflict screenshots to me. For Domination and Beacon Hunt, the highest number of captures wins. For PvE, Team Battle and Combat Recon, the highest number of "kills" wins, with assists counting for half a kill (rounded up). Submissions not earning a medal will earn an activity point. First place wins an IS-SW, 2nd a IS-BW (with 2 submissions or more, otherwise IS-BW for first). Submissions earn 4 pts for 1st, 3 pts for 2nd, 2 pts for 3rd and 1 pt for others. At the end of the month, the top 3 MP flyers will earn an IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW. 10 activity points wins an IS-BW and every 50th activity point will earn an IS-SW. Tie breakers: kills for Domination and Beacon Hunt, Captain Kill or pure kills for Team Battle and Combat Recon.
