As Raise the Flag 2015 is drawing ever closer, activity is picking up on the Hammer. Last week, the MShipE for April was delivered to the SEE, and within 24 hours it was approved and returned, after which the Commanders received the green light to award their pilots. This means that I am a happy Commodore: 7 Imperial Security Medals, 4 Palpatince Crescents and 1 Bronze Star of the Empire as well as no less than 15 Medals of Communication. Good work, pilots!

More good news, as this week the TCCOM has awarded the prestigious Gold Star of the Empire to the Warrior COM. Kudos on your medal, Frodo!

As you know, the COOA, LC Plif, has stepped down, and the COO is still looking for a replacement. Here's hoping he picks someone soon, with the introduction of the LoS, things are getting pretty busy on the VSD Aggressor.

Speaking of LoS.... the past few days I've been working on implementing something we had been talking about for awhile: soon, the database will stop sending emails for every single LoC and LoS to the pilot and his whole CoC. Once implemented, one email will be sent for every 50 or so LoCs and LoSs awarded. This should cut down the email load for MP missions by a factor of 300 or more. It's still undergoing some tweaking and testing, but should be fully functional by the time RtF begins.

Wordt news this week of course is the Warrior pilots stealing so many of my high scores that my FCHG count actually went down. This is sad, and shall be avenged. I have no idea how, but it will come when you least expect it!

A special call directed at all Alpha squadron members: your commander has just started a small recruiting competition. Go out and find yourself a recruit. If you recruit makes it to Lieutenant within a month, win a nice shinie!

Last for the week - the code for the MP email queue system that's been talked about for a while is complete and will undergo final testing in the next week or two. If all goes well, the individual emails for every LoC and LoS will soon be history, which should dramatically rduce the email load on the server. Yay us!

Submit your StarConflict screenshots to me. For Domination and Beacon Hunt, the highest number of captures wins. For PvE, Team Battle and Combat Recon, the highest number of "kills" wins, with assists counting for half a kill (rounded up). Submissions not earning a medal will earn an activity point. First place wins an IS-SW, 2nd a IS-BW (with 2 submissions or more, otherwise IS-BW for first). Submissions earn 4 pts for 1st, 3 pts for 2nd, 2 pts for 3rd and 1 pt for others. At the end of the month, the top 3 MP flyers will earn an IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW. 10 activity points wins an IS-BW and every 50th activity point will earn an IS-SW. Tie breakers: kills for Domination and Beacon Hunt, Captain Kill or pure kills for Team Battle and Combat Recon.
