SQUADRON STATUS: Getting dress uniforms pressed and ready
for Warrior Day

There's still some time left to submit a new banner for
the Warrior and vote for Warrior of the Year! These two
end on 3/31 during our celebration of Warrior Day.
After some SP flying from CPT
Nolij and MAJ Flelm,
we've secured our 79th and 80th squadron citations.
Great teamwork!
Sinner's Delight has been a bit quiet, but with the
pilot files submitted today there's an opportunity to
extend the competition and have an award go out. On the
SP side, we have CPT Nolij
with 9 and MAJ Flelm with
4. Top pilot by the end of Tuesday wins the IS-BW!
Your fearless leader came
away with another win in the latest Star Wars Commander
competition, showing once again that he spends more time
on his datapad than in the cockpit. Time to turn that
around!

| OPEN COMPETITIONS |
The
Competitions Center and Combat Center on the TIE
Corps site can provide all the details for each
competition. In my reports, I'll just be listing short
summaries of each open competition that are open to Sin
pilots. Also, I'm treating the two Ace of the TIE Corps
competitions as a given, since they're always around.
- Warrior Banner: Make a new banner for the mighty
flagship! (Wing II, 2701)
- Warrior of the Year: Vote for the Warrior
that you think had the most impact on the ship's
success on its first year back! (Wing II, 2702)
- TIE Corps on Patrol: Weekly assignments of one free
mission or battle for TIE, XvT, BoP, and XWA, highest
scores win awards and there are participation awards
as well! (Whole TC, 2689)
- Warrior Trivia Season Two: Five trivia questions a
week in a Google Form, objective is to answer the
questions as quickly as possible! (Wing II)
- Pazaak Round Two: Play Pazaak, screenshot any wins
and send up to 20 screenshots to LC Plif. Points
awarded for each win depending on how decisive it was,
highest totals win awards! (Whole TC, 2705)
- Star Conflict Wingman: During SC PvP, try to get the
highest assist count you can. Highest totals win
awards! (Whole TC, 2700)
- COO Monthly Challenge: Highest kill amount (with
assists counted as half a kill) in Team Battle or
Domination missions wins a DFC! This is now
automatically tracked from LoC submissions, no need to
send a separate email. (Whole TC, 85)
- X-Wing Replay: This year, we're flying through the
original missions in X-Wing! In March and April, fly
TOD 2: The Great Search. Pilot file and screenshot of
the debriefing screen should be sent to the TAC. High
scores for the whole tour win awards! (Whole TC, 2664)
- TIE Fighter Replay: This year, we're also flying
through the original missions in TIE Fighter! In
March, fly Battle 3: Battle on the Frontier. Pilot
file should be sent to the TAC. High scores for the
whole battle win awards! (Whole TC, 2665)

| CLOSING THOUGHTS |

The curveball I threw in this week's trivia seems to
have been successful! On the other hand, it could be
that folks appreciated the usual routine instead of
something unexpected. Definitely more interesting for me
this way, though, and that's what really counts. :P
