Reviews for TIE-DB 15

| | It is a challenging mission. My biggest problem was that many missions require you to kill 100% of all fighters, yet several times a single fighter will escape to hyperspace or go back to its flagship because your wingmen had damaged it, yet not killed it. You basically have to babysit everything and make sure everything dies.

| | The missions were interesting and all quite different (which isn't always the case in battles). That was the good part. On the bad side, there's very clumsy and complicated mission structures. For example, in the last mission, it was quite sucky to learn by trial-and-error in which order I have to destroy stuff to not fail the mission. Enemy fighters who either go after their comrades or just circle around "looking for craft to attack" while I'm in their very middle slaughtering them aren't funny either. And why are there actually penalties on destruction of enemy cap ships? Does that make any sense? The storyline was a little dull, too. But it could be that it's just because I don't like that strange cortosis story from the EU. All in all, I can't give this more than two points.

| | Well, this battle looked like all the other TIE DB but it didn't turn out that way in the end. I would give this thing a 3 but the last mission was too incredible: It kept you on the edg for the whole 20 minutes or so and you never knew what was going to happen. I have never seen a mission like this and I think it is one of the greatest inovations in mission designe, its a fun hard battle to fly.
