Oh how this one sucks, let me count the ways.... The first 3 missions shoulda just been 1, there's no excuse for it. The author states he split em to prevent a 50 min mission, but that's bull. there's no viable reason for waiting for all those EH ships since in mission 1 you already have enough firepower to destroy the enemy caps. Which by the way are set invincible. i loathe invincible ships. And the last mission - well, any mission you can win when you're in the kitchen doing the dishes should not have gotten past the testing stages. Execution is not very well either. Al throughout the battle, friendly ships (even EH ones) show up as unknowns, despite the fact they were perfectly known in the previous mission... The battle could also easily do without the M/SC patch - the ship has no function at all since the Sov has the gravity well generators too

I hate to say it, but this was one of the worst battles I have ever flown. It was excruciatingly boring, monotonous, and I am still trying to figure out how you're supposed to get a score above 0 or a negative number on that final mission, since that just after you destroy the enemy frigate, you have to destroy a FRIENDLY ATR, which negates the whole thing. It was rather fast paced though, with lots of fighting, but when it's the same thing over and over for the first four missions, it kinda kills the whole fun factor. Because it did have SOME fun to it, I give it a 1.

Fortunately, I got a system good enough to handle the large quantity of ships. Not a very good battle, it has lots of flaws. And about the last mission, I think most ppl played "Homeworld: Cataclysm"!

2 SSDs, a massive base, and 1 SSSD with over 600 fighters have a problem taking down a small Rebel fleet. What the heck? It is unrealistic and strange. Mission 5 is just a lead in into a sequel. For those who are wondering, I am pretty sure that CSF is a on-line club that Ace is in. However, it is never explained in the mission nor do we ever learn why the EH is allied with it or even what CSF stands for. Ace should really have tried to tell people what it is. I, however, believe that CSF is an online club that plays the game Homeworld: Catalysim (might be wrong though). I was able to figure that out by the usage of the Beast. The plot lacks explaination, all of the missions are just massive fighter dogfights, the missions lack militaristic sense (if my BGCOM ever comes up with a plan of attack like this, I would shot him), the prevent goals need to be linked with an "or" trigger instead of an "and" (to fail a mission, all of the prevent goals have to occur instead of just one of them), ships have names like support, no-name, assualt frigate, please some orginality, there aren't any commander's briefings, the base is unnecesarily big which causes problems on many computers, there are some grammer errors (no biggie, I'm a horrible speller myself), and the M/SC patch is really not necessary for it makes just a small appearance in the middle of a fleet and it doesn't do anything... That is all I can think of for now. Now, it is bug free and it is somewhat fun (if you like big dogfights then this is great) so it avoids getting a zero, zilch, 0.

well, i dont say that this is my better battle. In fact there are 2 missions - but i know that nobody like 50 mins mission so i maked it as few missions so they are basycly the same. As battle isnt eh_only so.. for all non-eh members battle is awalable here: http://members.lycos.co.uk/ehacecsf/XWATC34/download_page.htm (i hope i will not be killed by eny hi admirals) Also: As TCC say, ALL OTHER PROGRAMS MUST BE SHUT DOWN, and battle is for hi preformaced mashines, ONLY (dont post bug that it wont work, you simple cant support it)

Ladies and Gentlemen. Some notes from the TCC:XWA. If your going to fly this battle, i have a suggestion. TURN EVERYTHING ELSE OFF!!!! There are countless ships, and most computers will have problems running it. While your computer will possibly keep up (mine did and i have a P2 300) its going to lag when you get lots of ships in the field of view (mainly the base) So turn everything off. Other than that it isnt a bad battle, while most of the missions are almost the same, but its still woth flying.

I have no idea what CSF means, or what this battle was all about, but I can pretty much describe it as follows: "Let's see how much extremely big capital ships and space stations can be crammed into one sector without XwA crashing." There were só many big capital ships and platforms close together, that I had no chance for a fluent dogfight. I also was bothered by the fact that every enemy fighter had flares. Imagine a fight where every fighter you chase keeps farting out those purple things in your face, while there's others trying to lock missiles on you. Sometimes I spent more time spinning than flying straight and by the time I recovered from the spin, WHAM, another flare crashing into me and WEEEE off I went again. There were no commander briefings at all, resulting in me having absolutely no idea what was going on. And you have to be able to read very fast if you want to understand something of the animated briefing. In mission 3 I was unable to return to my supposed command ship, the Intrepid, even though my flight leader specifically requested a docking. I had to fly all the way to the way the Sovereign instead, unfortunately, I can't do that while she still hasn't arrived and thus I had to fly without access to missile reloads. In mission 4 I noticed I had a bonus goal saying: 100% of X/W Red is destroyed. I noticed it while I was hunting down X/W Red 2, with X/W Red 1 and Red 3 on my ass. In the same mision I suspect MC-90 Honor has been assigned a starfighter order, because it acted a bit too agile for a ship its size. There were several grammar and spelling errors too. I'm giving this batle one point, because in the end, all missions had no bugs in them and could be completed.
