| | TIE Fleet Commander's Honor Guard Battle No. 2 - Shadows of Time, is a well designed battle with an excellent storyline, concerning time travel to boot! It has won several awards, and I can see why. New TIE mission designers should take a look at Shadows of Time and see what you can learn from it, not only within the design boards, but also the cockpit.

| | By Far the most intresting Battle I've ever flown. It aint easy, and I've had to fly it a few times... to fully appreciate the hard work, and the PLOT! Too bad Drake is no longer around!

| | One of the best battles in the compendium. A must fly. Drake, make more battles. >:P

| | An excellent battle. The last mission was a little off though (but as Drake said, he was under a time restraint), and I would have liked when the TRNs ran from the CRS in mission 5 (on easy/med), if the radio message telling me to disable the ones with the technician and the commander hadn't come 1 minute after I had already destroyed them. :p Opps. Still, really outstanding work. An overused plot idea, but it was well executed. Oh, and I did have to resist the urge to shot DN in the back in several missions, but hey, we go in the past in this mission, not the future, so we can't forsee his little crazy spell a few years later.

| | Quality battle, though pretty hard at times... but then again: I like missions to be challenging. :)

| | Great battle, great briefings

| | Excellent Plot, Excellent Combat and Excellent Technical Details, what can I say more?

| | An excellent battle. I was especially impressed by mission 5, which is totally different when played on hard than on easier difficulty setting. Only minor bugs (typos and such), so I'm tempted to give it a 5 because of creative innovations, but as it lacks final perfect professional touch, I'll have to round the rating down to 4.

| | Holy cow is this an excellent battle! I recommend that everyone flies this as it is the best (along with Mirror Universe) that I’ve seen the EH offer in terms of battles. It is well written, has a great plot, lots of action, its not frustrating, its captivating, the briefings are masterfully worked, and there is even a choice of missions in one of the missions for even more variance. Download and play this now. I don’t think you can be disappointed. I give it a 4.95 (rounded up to a 5 for purposes of the EH review scale.)

| | It has a very good plotline but I only give a 5 even if I´m not a TIE Fan and mission 3 crashed twice on me. Overall Everyone should fly it. It´s one of the best battles out there.

| | Awesome briefing maps as usual from Drake. The briefing Q&A were good as well, though I don't really prefer the "What are my objectives?" style. The plot was very good. However, the overall plot seemed just a little less exciting than the subplots for each mission. The subplots really made the battle work for me. Between missions 3 and 4, when the ETRs are after Ronin (and in other places), the pacing of the individual missions were great and created some beefy tension in the story. I found the difficulty levels to be perfect. Despite flying advanced TIEs, the missions were not easy as happens in other battles (and it wasn't hard because of endless waves of A-wings with advanced missiles either). The missions were also deceptively simple with lots of hidden things going on.

| | Because so many people gave this a 4 because there is no 4.5 option, I'll give it a bump with a 5. The missions have an incredible amount of detail and keep your interest no matter your skill level. Though I would warn that if you want to see all of the each mission, you need to plan to play this over a long period of time. You can fly it fairly quickly, but you will miss out on a lot of the action.

| | Hell Yeah! The Best battle/mission and plotline I have ever had the pleasure of flying. I had to fly it again so I could do mission 5 again on medium.

| | Those who know me know that I am notoriously critical of my own work. While this does represent my best work that is currently available, it by no means represents just what I know I am capable of. The plotline is okay, I am not happy with the briefings and the depth of the questions and it is somewhat lacking of a stunning mission effect or two. My restriction on this was time.. and it does show, particularly in the final missions. It's not all doom and gloom from me though, The 'Gate' was something that I have wanted to do for a long time and it came off well. The convoy effect was another thing I was particularly happy about. The balance of the forces is spot on and there are some neat ideas included within which will be adapted and improved in the near future. While I may never give any of my battles a '5' rating, this one does get at least 4.5. Have fun flying this, I enjoyed making it for you. UPDATE: 22nd January. Fixed the bugs in missions 2 and 5. Should be suitible for TieCD users now.

| | I think a 4 is a bit low, but there is no 4.5 option, and since I have a hard time giving anything a 5... I guess I'll have to use a 4. This battle was certainly a good one from many perspectives. I liked the innovative plot, I liked the speed with which the missions moved along in general, as well as many other good things. I didn't at times like flying a T/D so much, and having wave after wave of fighters does bug me in all battles, but it wasn't too bad here. Overall a great mission to fly and since I didn't run into any bugs then it would probably be a good choice for any competition. =)

| | Good battle, with an excellent plotline. The briefings were outstanding. To be honest, I gave it a 4 because you fly the T/D too darned much in it. Personal bias, if you will. But this is a goodie, folks.

| | The best mission I have ever flown. Not quite to hard and not quite to easy. Drake you need to make ALOT more missions.

| | One of the best battles I have ever flown. Great job, Drake! And keep it up :)

| | I would give this battle a 10 if I could. I now know why this battle was picked for first place. The only part that was a little frustrating was the wait for all the fighters in the first mission. Some how I destroyed 80 x-wings and 72 a-wings. Once again a great battle with a great plot.
