Reviews for TIE-TC 15

| | The briefings are well done and most of the missions contain reasonably challenging dogfights. Some strategy and planning is required for a good score. The player also has a lot of control in how the battle plays out. Both of these qualities indicate above average complexity that's also fair. But there are some moments where unpredictable AI behavior can ruin an otherwise good run, particularly the first mission on hard. A mission-critical transport arrives late, and can be quickly destroyed if you get unlucky. Having to replay the entire mission because of one weak link can be an annoying waste of time. The rest of the missions are straightforward once you figure out the triggers. One design fault is that most starships have fighter orders. It seems to be intentional, but it's still a lazy way to deploy them in combat. Another fault is the final mission, which doesn't have much going on. It's also somewhat boring to play, as the primary targets are easy but relatively time consuming to fight. Overall a good battle, but not great. |

| | The first missions were fine. No problem. Last mission fixed.

| | I'm giving this a 1 rating simply because it's not very well put together. In one mission alone, both capships are set to starfighter orders which causes them to flail all over the place and ram into mission critical craft. It took me over 8 hours to finish that mission, and in the end, I think I just got lucky.

| | This is a very fun battle, in my opinion. It's focused, works without any errors, and is just hard enough to be challenging but not infuriating. Additionally, you've really got to pay attention to the details of the briefings, which is always a plus.

| | I gave it a 5 because every mission in it requires extensive pre-flight analysis from my part; it requires a keen tactical mind plus great piloting skills since you fly GUNs a lot. Bravo!

| | Not a bad battle at all. I had no complaints, not once did it get annoying or frustrating.

|
| | A very difficult battle when flown in GUNs. But it puts a new spin on how to battle with a slow, broad, shielded craft.

|
| | In several of the missions, friendly craft continue to attack mission critical craft, even after being disabled and captured.
